Golf Tournament World Record Attempt Coming to Ontario in Summer 2010
multi-site, summer-long tournament may be the largest the world has ever seen
TORONTO, April 27 /CNW/ - Last Golfer Standing is a unique, summer-long, multi-site tournament spanning the province of Ontario. It includes numerous golf facilities and will be an attempt to set a new Guinness World Record for Largest One Day Golf Tournament.
The tournament is open to every golfer in Ontario and was designed for players of all levels - anyone can take the title of Last Golfer Standing. Golfers join the tournament online at www.lastgolferstanding.com where they can book tee-times, enter scores, create a personal leader board and invite friends to join all through their player portal on the Last Golfer Standing web site.
Golfers qualify by entering their scores from five, 18-hole rounds played at any of the participating golf courses. The Big Day of Play will take place on September 25th, 2010 when we will have the province-wide world record attempt and announce the winner of the tournament.
