Media Advisory - Williams F1 CEO Races into Niagara Falls to Fuel the Future at the 43rd Annual H.G Acres Seminar
NIAGARA FALLS, ON, April 24, 2012 /CNW/ - Media are invited to attend Innovation: Fueling the Future, at the Niagara Fallsview Casino April 26-27, 2012. The event will feature keynote speaker Alex Burns, Chief Executive Officer of Williams F1, one of the world's leading Formula One teams. The CEO will discuss the applicability of Williams F1 technology to Canada's power sector and the role of innovation in an industry that virtually never stands still.
The H.G. Acres Seminar is an annual event, hosted every spring since 1970. Hatch clients and colleagues from around the world will gather to share their insights and expertise on issues facing Canada's power sector and the latest developments in power technologies. More than 150 attendees from Ontario's power sector will be in attendance.
The Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort site is particularly suitable for this year's seminar as it was once the transformer station building for the Ontario Power Generating Station located at the foot of the Horseshoe Falls. The east facade of the complex retains the walls of the terrace and front entrance of the transformer station built in 1904. The area where the transformers reside is now the Grand Hall Convention area.
