April 27 is Daffodil Day

OTTAWA, April 25, 2012 /CNW/ - On Daffodil Day the Canadian Cancer Society asks Canadians to wear a daffodil pin to show their support for those living with cancer. The pin is a bright symbol of support telling people with cancer that they are not alone and that we won't give up until all forms of the disease are defeated.

What:	The Canadian Cancer Society, along with 4 young cancer survivors, will be handing out daffodil pins to Members of Parliament. MPs are being encouraged to wear the pins in the House of Commons on April 26 to help remind Canadians to wear their pins on April 27 - Daffodil Day.
