TV Writing Seminar brings House writer/producer to Vancouver
VANCOUVER, April 30, 2012 /CNW/ - TV, eh? presents a one-day seminar on writing for television with Emmy-nominated and Writers Guild of America Award-winning writer/producer Larry Kaplow (House, Body of Proof) and moderator Daegan Fryklind (The Listener, Being Erica). Participants will learn practical information on breaking in, pitching, story structure, writing for production, and developing their own work. Class size is limited and includes a networking lunch and breaks.

Larry Kaplow is an Emmy-nominated writer/producer who spent six seasons with House in addition to writing for Family Law, Hack, K-Ville and Body of Proof. Kaplow has lectured at USC, NYU, Duke University, Johns Hopkins, and the National Association of Broadcasters, among others.
Daegan Fryklind has written for The Listener, Being Erica, The Guard, jPod, Robson Arms, Falcon Beach, and Cold Squad as well as the animated series Yvon of the Yukon, Something Else, and What About Mimi? She cowrote the feature Edison and Leo.
