Invitation to the media - Bien verrouiller, c'est important! The Committee on Bicycle Theft in Montreal launches a prevention campaign

MONTREAL, April 30, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Insurance Bureau of Canada, the City of Montreal, Tandem, the SPVM, Vélo-Québec and Société de transport de Montréal (STM) have joined forces to launch the prevention campaign targeting bicycle theft entitled "Bien verrouiller, c'est important!" (Lock it. It's important).

Spokespersons from all the partner organizations will be there to answer your questions. Mélanie Potvin, Community Agent at Police Station 38 (Plateau Mont-Royal), and Alec Tremblay, Community Services Agent, Community Services, Région Sud du SPVM, will demonstrate how to lock a bike and will engrave the bikes of some of the citizens present.
