News Advisory - Senior citizen bikes across Canada to raise money for Haiti
MONTREAL, Aug. 10 /CNW/ - Art Denton, 68, is cycling across Canada to raise funds in support of the survivors of the earthquake in Haiti. Starting in Vancouver on June 1, Art's 6,671 km bike trip has already taken him across the western provinces, through Ontario, and he's now making his way into Quebec. With a strong passion for biking, Art decided to combine his hobby with helping people in need and has set a goal of raising $10,000 for World Vision's work in Haiti.
Art will be stopping at La Maison d'Haiti to greet members of Montreal's Haitian community and World Vision staff before setting off on the next leg of his tour which will end in Halifax.
