MONTREAL, Aug. 24, 2012 /CNW/ - More than 8,000 retail buyers will descend on the Canadian Gift & Tableware Association's (CGTA) Montreal Gift Show where 350 exhibitors will showcase this year's newest and most innovative products, reflecting industry expectations for 2013. The resulting orders will define the coming months of Quebec's retail sector, the largest employer in the province.
The show — running from Sunday, August 26 to Wednesday, August 29 — brings manufacturers, importers, exporters, wholesalers and suppliers together with retail buyers. Decisions will determine what shoppers see on store shelves during the upcoming holiday season.
The show divides exhibitors into five product categories: Le Quebec, an unparalleled mix of Quebec-made products; Giftware and Home Décor, a global mix of the latest trends in home décor, giftware, souvenirs and more; Le Coin Gourmand, an appetizing selection of housewares and gourmet food; Le Coin Enfant, the newest products for infants and children, and Le "Style Montreal" Runway, where visitors will discover the latest in fashion and jewellery.
