MISSISSAUGA, ON, Dec. 9 /CNW/ - World Vision Canada's "Haiti experts" will offer their perspectives on the earthquake response on Thursday, December 16 at 10 a.m. (ET). Media will gain insight into key issues such as:

Over the past year World Vision has assisted thousands of Haitian children and families through a multi-million dollar, multi-sector earthquake response.

Tanis McKnight, Program Manager - Haiti Tanis oversees Canadian support to World Vision's field operations. She spent a month in Haiti immediately following the earthquake and has returned periodically to monitor projects over the past year. She lived in Haiti in 2003. | ||
Jonathan Papoulidis, Senior Policy Advisor - Haiti Through meetings with Haiti's Prime Minister Bellerive, Bill Clinton and Canadian government, Jonathan has brought forward innovate strategies to strengthen the capacity of the Government of Haiti, while improving overall response coordination. Jonathan previously served as UN Special Advisor and Chief of Policy and Programs for the recovery efforts in Aceh, following the 2004 Tsunami. | ||
