KELOWNA, BC, Dec. 9 /CNW/ - Georox Resources Inc. ("Georox" or the "Company") (GXR:TSX-V; OF6A:FRA).  After discussions with officials of the Government of Trinidad and Tobago, management has concluded that there is no opportunity at present to finalize a production sharing contract on the North Marine Block.  The North Marine Block offered in the Government's recent Competition Bid Round is not subject to negotiations with any other party, and may become available in a future offering.

Management will continue to review opportunities for the Corporation in Trinidad and Tobago, as well as elsewhere.
