On the twelfth day of Christmas TELUS gave to me: free rides in a taxi
TELUS offers free taxi rides and phone calls to Calgarians
CALGARY, Dec. 17 /CNW/ - Starting this weekend, a fleet of TELUS branded taxis will storm the streets of Calgary offering free rides and phone calls to anyone--whether they are last minute shoppers or holiday party-goers. From December 18 to December 25, ten TELUS branded taxis will cruise Calgary's downtown between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. Whether it's to the store around the corner or to a festive evening out, Calgarians will have the opportunity to take advantage of this perk from TELUS. En route, passengers will also be offered a free holiday call anywhere in North America on Canada's fastest coast-to-coast mobile network.
"The last week before the Holidays is hectic, holiday shoppers have their hands full between social commitments and picking out that perfect gift for their loved ones. We want to help make the holiday rush a little easier for Calgarians with a stress-free ride on us," said Anne-Marie LaBerge, vice-president, Brand & Marketing Communications, TELUS. "The holiday season is also a time to share with family and friends and we believe it's important to connect with them, so we are also offering free calls on TELUS' 3G+ network while being driven home."
The TELUS taxi's are driving into other cities across Canada including; Vancouver , Edmonton, Regina, Saskatoon, Toronto and Montreal to bring a helping hand to shoppers across Canada.
