Those looking for an escape from the extreme snow and wind found in most areas of <span class="xn-location">Canada</span> should head to this capital city, where the average minimum temperature is only -7 degrees C during the month of December.</p> <p/> <p>While locations such as <span class="xn-location">Toronto</span> and Niagara Falls are seeing price increases, other Ontario cities like <span class="xn-location">London</span> and <span class="xn-location">Ottawa</span> have seen decreases of four and one percent decrease instead, respectively. Meanwhile, Kelowna, a city known for having the greatest percentage of "calm" winds in <span class="xn-location">Canada</span>, made its 2010 debut this year with a two percent decrease.</p> <p/> <p>After a two month hiatus due to a strong convention season in the fall, <span class="xn-location">Calgary</span> is back on the list. Many <span class="xn-location">Calgary</span> hotels have been dropping prices to entice more leisure travelers to fill the voids left by the end of convention season. This is great news for those who enjoy outdoor sporting activities such as ice skating, skiing and tubing.
