Sims Recycling Solutions Canada becomes Canada's first electronics recycler
registered to OHSAS 18001
TORONTO, Feb. 26 /CNW/ - Sims Recycling Solutions Canada has successfully become the first electronics recycling company in Canada registered to the international standard OHSAS 18001. OHSAS 18001 is an occupational health and safety management system enabling organizations to control and continuously improve its occupational health and safety risks.

To become registered to the OHSAS 18000 system, companies must be audited by an accredited auditing company and demonstrate compliance to complete risk assessments of operations and identify all possible risks hazards associated with each job function
