Media Advisory - Canadian Food Summit 2012
TORONTO, Feb. 3, 2012 /CNW/ - Few issues matter more to people than the quality and availability of food. Driven by increasing population and growing wealth in emerging economies, food demand and prices are rising both in Canada and around the world.
The Canadian Food Summit 2012 will bring together national and international experts, along with private and public sector leaders to discuss food safety, sustainability and security. The summit is hosted by The Conference Board of Canada's Centre for Food in Canada (CFIC). Launched in 2010, CFIC is a multi-year program of research and dialogue.
