When construction works…everything works: an overview of a misunderstood industry in need of a new image
MONTREAL, Feb. 20, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Media representatives are invited to attend the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal's Desjardins business luncheon - Business voices on Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at noon. Mr. Pierre Pomerleau, President of Pomerleau, will be our guest speaker.
During his presentation, Mr. Pomerleau will compare the different contractual models for the construction industry in Quebec and elsewhere in the world, including the public-private partnerships. He will talk about the challenges for the sector, the value of appropriately trained labour, the many jobs in the metropolitan area, and the impact of Act 333 on the future development of the industry.
The speech will be delivered mainly in French.
