Media Advisory - Five University Teams from Across Canada set for Green Showdown tomorrow

WHAT: After more than 160 post-secondary student teams from coast-to-coast registered to compete for the second annual Green Student Challenge, it comes down to the final five. With $50,000 on the line for the winner and their university and $90,000 in total prizing, the five finalist teams from Carleton University, Université Sainte-Anne, University of Toronto, University of Victoria and Wilfred Laurier University will pitch their green business solutions to a judging panel of some of Canada's most successful CEOs. The high pressure presentations by the five finalists, including the awarding of the winning concept, will be broadcast live online at www.greenstudentchallenge.ca, starting at 10:00 a.m. EST, February 26.
WHO: Shelley Broader, president and CEO of Walmart Canada, Dianne Craig, CEO of Ford Motor Company of Canada, Chris O'Neill, managing director of Google Canada, Claude Mongeau, president and CEO of CN, Ana Dominguez, president and general manager of SC Johnson Canada and Tom Heintzman, co-founder and director of Bullfrog Power.
