Global Maxfin Capital Inc. acquires Octagon Capital Corporation's retail
operation

TORONTO , Jan. 19 /CNW/ - Global Maxfin Capital Inc. (Global) is enhancing it Private Client Division. Global is obtaining the retail division of Octagon Capital Corporation (Octagon), a full-service investment dealer.

The acquisition will significantly grow the number of accounts for Global. The deal is expected to finalize at the end of January.
