- Greenbelt Fund Announces Grants to Public Institutions -
TORONTO, Jan. 17, 2012 /CNW/ - Today, Ted McMeekin, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, will be part of an announcement that will bring more Ontario food into public institutions. The funding distributed by the Greenbelt Fund and its program the Broader Public Sector Investment Fund (BPS), is fostering change at the production, distribution and operation levels to increase the use of local food and change food procurement practices.
