Rogers Media to release "The Booth at the End" trailer: an exclusive Canadian
premier through "Shorts in the City"
TORONTO, July 26 /CNW/ - Rogers Media today announced that it is releasing the trailer for the highly anticipated show, "The Booth at the End," through "Shorts in the City," a Citytv.com programming initiative in partnership with Nissan Canada. The trailer will be featured in "Shorts in the City" on Citytv.com and RogersOnDemand.com, and is produced by Vuguru, Michael Eisner's independent studio in which Rogers is an investor.
"The Booth at the End" centres on a mysterious Man who sits at a booth at the end of a diner. People come to him with things they want: a parent with a sick child, a woman who wants to be prettier. The Man can make these things happen - for a price. In exchange for what they want, these individuals must sacrifice their morals and do deeds normally inconceivable to them. The Man never forces anyone to do anything. It's always up to them to start - or stop - with one lingering question: "How far would you go to get what you want?" "The Booth at the End" has an ensemble cast showcasing veteran talent from TV and film, including Xander Berkeley from 24 (Season 1 and 2) as The Man.
"The Booth at the End" launches August 9th, as a worldwide, exclusive Canadian premier. "We will be featuring "The Booth at the End" on our "Shorts in the City" channel on Citytv.com, as well as distributing it across other Rogers websites and platforms, including RogersOnDemand.com and the "Shorts in The City" iPad and iPhone applications," said Claude Galipeau, SVP & GM Digital Media, Rogers Media. "This release continues our innovative partnership with Nissan Canada to provide Canadians with high-quality, exclusive multi-screen programming."
