Media Advisory - Plensa sculpture concepts to be unveiled at THE BOW

CALGARY, July 6, 2012 /CNW/ - Calgary-area media are invited to join THE BOW project partners and the City of Calgary for the unveiling of the sculpture concepts for the plaza public art Monday, July 9, 2012.

Calgary soon joins the ranks of London, Chicago, Dubai and Tokyo as the installation of two commissioned sculptures by one of the world's foremost sculptors, Jaume Plensa, begins at the foot of THE BOW.

A short formal program will include remarks from the City of Calgary and the artist. A media availability will follow.
