ZCL Composites Announces New COO and Schedules Second Quarter 2012 Investor Conference Call

EDMONTON, July 18, 2012 /CNW/ - ZCL Composites Inc. (TSX: ZCL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kapul Gill to the position of Chief Operating Officer for ZCL Composites Inc. effective September 10, 2012.  Kapul brings with him over 28 years of experience in manufacturing within a number of industries including automotive, aerospace, and luxury yachts.  Presently, Kapul is the Group Vice President of Operations of a privately held company in southern Ontario, with responsibility for a divisional income statement of $250 million and approximately 800 employees across North America serving end customers in the automotive, pharmaceutical, medical and energy sectors.  Kapul holds a PHD in Supply Chain and Lean Management, a Master of Science in Manufacturing Systems Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering.

ZCL Composites Inc. has also scheduled an investor conference call for 9:00 am MDT (11:00 am ET) on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 to discuss its financial and operating results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2012.

ZCL expects to issue its second quarter and year to date 2012 financial and operating results before the market opens on August 7, 2012.

The conference call will include prepared remarks by ZCL's current President and Chief Executive Officer, Rod Graham, by ZCL's Chief Financial Officer, Kathy Demuth and by ZCL's current Chief Operating Officer, Ron Bachmeier.
