Nick Cherryman and James Kitching to Join Fried Frank as Partners in London </pre> <p><span class="xn-location">LONDON</span>, <span class="xn-chron">June 3</span> /CNW/ -- Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP announced today that Nick Cherryman and <span class="xn-person">James Kitching</span> are joining the Firm's litigation practice as partners based in the Firm's <span class="xn-location">London</span> office. These significant hires highlight the expansion of the Firm's established litigation, international arbitration, and securities enforcement and white-collar crime practices into the <span class="xn-location">United Kingdom</span>.</p> <p/> <p>Nick Cherryman specializes in international arbitration and large multi-jurisdictional and international commercial disputes, with substantial experience in handling fraud and related matters. In addition to his extensive arbitration practice, <span class="xn-person">Mr. Cherryman</span> retains his rights of audience in the Higher English Courts and has represented clients in the Court of Appeal and the House of Lords (now the Supreme Court) and in the courts of other common law countries. He has substantial cross-border experience, having also handled arbitration and litigation matters in a number of non-UK jurisdictions. He was previously a partner with <span class="xn-person">Bryan Cave</span> and prior to that he practiced for over 10 years as a commercial and chancery barrister in leading chambers in <span class="xn-location">London</span>.</p> <p/> <p><span class="xn-person">James Kitching</span>, who is a barrister, has significant experience in white-collar crime, enforcement, and special investigations work. <span class="xn-person">Mr. Kitching</span> also handles litigation and international arbitration proceedings, principally in relation to high-value commercial contract and fraud disputes.
