Media Advisory - Inaugural G(irls)20 Summit Launches in Toronto
TORONTO, June 14 /CNW Telbec/ - This Wednesday, June 16, 21 young women, one from each of the G20 nations and one from the African Union, will gather in Toronto for the first-ever G(irls)20 Summit.
Modelled after the G20, the G(irls)20 Summit was created to highlight how girls and women can help solve some of the world's greatest challenges.
Between June 16 and 18, the delegates will work together to develop tangible solutions to global challenges. From June 19 to 25, they will participate in various workshops addressing problem solving, mentorship and leadership, financial literacy, media relations, government relations and how to utilize social media and technology to communicate globally.
