Cycling Tour Covers 720 km of Ontario's Waterfront and Greenways

TORONTO, June 16 /CNW/ - Two hundred and sixty cyclists will bike 720 km over eight days, using the Waterfront Trail and Greenway on Ontario's waterfront, during the third annual Great Waterfront Trail Adventure from Saturday, July 3 to Saturday, July 10, 2010. Starting in Niagara-on-the-Lake, the tour will celebrate new and on-going additions to the Waterfront Trail, passing through 41 Ontario waterfront communities and ending in Rivière Beaudette. The event is organized by The Waterfront Regeneration Trust, a registered charity that co-ordinates a partnership of waterfront communities, conservation authorities, community groups and corporations dedicated to the completion, enhancement and promotion of the Waterfront Trail and Greenway.
