Sunrise Medical announces new Quickie Ambassador, Tyler Prevost!
Meet & greet will take place on June 25TH, 2013!
TORONTO, June 21, 2013 /CNW/ - Sunrise Medical Canada Inc. announces the addition of a new Quickie Ambassador, Tyler Prevost from Sudbury, Ontario, to their Quickie Ambassador team!
On June 25th , Tyler will graduate from elementary school and at that time we will be holding a meet and greet session, during which we will be giving the local media a chance to meet this wonderful individual and his family, take photos, and ask him some questions. Please visit us at Lockerby High School (1391 Ramsey View Court, Greater Sudbury, ON), from 7:15pm at the main entrance. Tyler is looking forward to attending his prom with his partner. This important night is also the beginning of a new adventure since he will receive his new power wheelchair; the Quickie QM-710.
Tyler is fourteen years old and will be starting grade 9 in the fall. He has a disability called Spastic Diaphliga Cerebral Palsy, which slightly affects him on the right side of his body but this does not hold him back! Tyler is your typical teenager. He loves to hang out with his friends, listen to music, text message, use social media websites, act, swim, and is an excellent photographer. He loves movies, especially comedies, and when he grows up he would love to be either an actor or a photographer. For two years, from 2008-2010, Tyler was an Easter Seals Ambassador. He has participated in telethons, 'snow-a-ramas' and school fundraisers. He is very comfortable speaking about his disability and enjoys sharing knowledge about all of the amazing equipment that has helped him along the way.
The Quickie Ambassadors Program represents highly skilled individuals who excel in their disciplines. Whether they are athletes, artists, academics, or simply outgoing personalities, these individuals exemplify what the Quickie brand stands for: Live without limits.
