CALGARY, June 25, 2013 /CNW/ - Simon House Recovery Centre and Direct Cash ATM will host the inaugural Simon House Charity Classic and Million Dollar Shoot-Out on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at the Carnmoney Golf and Country Club. Registration begins at 11:30AM with a shotgun start at 1:30 PM. Celebrity MC and auctioneer Bearcat Murray will be in attendance and directly following the tournament at 6:30 PM there will be a Direct Cash $Million Dollar Shoot-Out on the 13th Hole directly beside the Carnmoney Golf Clubhouse. Four participants will have a chance to WIN A MILLION DOLLARS!
The timing of this golf Classic is sadly more important than ever as like many Calgarian's the treatment homes are heavily damaged from the floods. The men in recovery who live in the homes have moved until the houses are livable again and working at the houses during the day to clean up. Their spirit is strong as they help to rebuild along with their neighbours in the community of Bowness.
