TORONTO, March 24 /CNW/ - Viewers at home can roll out the orange carpet this Saturday, March 27 at 8 p.m. when Corus Entertainment's Nickelodeon (Canada) brings Canadians the 23rd Annual Kids' Choice Awards, broadcast live in Canada for the very first time. Hosted this year by movie and television star Kevin James, the slime will flow for the no-holds-barred mess-fest on the night kids rule and get to honour their favourite stars from the worlds of film, music, sports and television.
Delivering the stars that kids love, international superstar Rihanna and teen pop-sensation Justin Bieber will pump up the volume at the only award show that gives kids the power to vote for their favourite celebs. Kids began casting their votes online at www.nickcanada.com on February 25 in a total of 19 categories including Favourite TV Actress, Cutest Couple, Favourite Movie Actor, Favourite Reality Show and The Wannabe Award, given to the best celebrity role model.
A slate of Hollywood's biggest stars from movies, music, television and sports will present live from UCLA's Pauley Pavilion. YTV will repeat the broadcast of the Kids' Choice Awards on Friday, April 2 at 7 p.m.
