65th Annual Toronto Sportsmen's Show Offers Family Fun March 14-18
TORONTO, March 13, 2012 /CNW/ - The Metro Toronto Convention Centre opens its doors tomorrow to celebrate the 65th year of the Toronto Sportsmen's Show (TSS). This year's show guarantees outdoor lovers and families an unbelievable showcase of the best of everything to do with the great outdoors.
For five action-packed days, thousands of attendees will visit the North and South Buildings to explore the fantastic variety of shows and exhibits that highlight the very best in outdoor adventure, travel and thrills. More than 450 exhibitors are offering the latest gear for camping, fishing, hiking, hunting, canoeing, travel and boating.
To kick-off the show's festivities, TSS will be welcoming the sugary world of SweetFix, who specializes in the creation of unique and exquisite sweet tables. SweetFix will be at the opening ceremonies (March 14) unveiling their creation of a massive cake themed 'the Great Outdoors.' This delicious display will be set-up in the North Building ready to serve 300 people, so come early and come hungry for some tasty treats!
For the first time ever, the Toronto Sportsmen's Show is presenting a live auction on Saturday, March 17, 2012 held in the south building at noon. Get there early as only 350 showgoers are allowed in the ring to bid for incredible buys including ATVs, motorcycles, dirt bikes and watercrafts. Attendees can pre-register online at www.auction.countrycorners.net or register on-site at 10:00 a.m.
Showgoers will be given a chance to win big with "The Berkley $65,000 Big Game" and "The $75,000 Toronto Sun Casting Pond." Visitors can also have a chance to win one of 10 trips and five iPads with the "Stay & Play Giveaway" and RV and ATV giveaways.
