Bengal Energy Ltd. Announces Director Resignation

CALGARY, May 13 /CNW/ - Bengal Energy Ltd. ("Bengal") (TSX: BNG) announces that Judy Stripling has resigned from Bengal's Board of Directors effective May 12, 2010. Ms. Stripling has determined that due to increased responsibilities in her current role as Chief Financial Officer of a TSX listed company she is no longer able to devote time on external Boards.

"Judy has made a significant contribution to the Company over the last three and half years," commented Bradley Johnson, Chairman of Bengal. "Her financial acumen and experience in growth oriented juniors was highly beneficial in advancing Bengal's strategy."
