Pointe-à-Callière, the Montréal Museum of Archaeology and History invites you to Pointe-à-callière's Cultural Feast Saturday, May 29 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday May 30 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. FREE EVENT On place Royale and in the area around the Museum
MONTREAL, May 28 /CNW Telbec/ - A free outdoor event, Pointe-à-Callière's Cultural Feast celebrates the art of celebrating in Montréal's various cultural communities. Over the course of two days of festivities, visitors will be able to sink their teeth into: performances, tastings, presentations, children's activities, food kiosks, demonstrations by chefs, traditional products, games, and much more.
A performance by Florence K
Not to be missed on Sunday at 3 pm, Florence K will appear in an enchanting performance, inviting us into her world filled with musical rhythms and colours that skilfully combine pop, jazz, blues, and bossa nova.
New culinary trends
This year, there will be a special emphasis on new culinary trends. Molecular gastronomy, slow food, raw food... influential personalities from the gastronomic world are reinventing our ways of eating. Various demonstrations and activities on this theme will be featured.
Pointe-à-Callière's Cultural Feast will also be one of the not-to-be-missed event of the 24nd Montréal Museums Day taking place on Sunday May 30. On this day, as well as participating in the numerous activities offered during Pointe-à-Callière's Cultural Feast, the public will be able to visit free of charge the exhibition Where Montréal was born, the multimedia show Montréal, Tales of a City, and Montréal Loves Stories - The Cultural Connection.
