Music Monday 2012 unites hundreds of thousands of students in coast-to-coast simultaneous concert
TORONTO, May 3, 2012 /CNW/ - Hundreds of thousands of students from communities across Canada will unite in song on Monday May 7th to raise awareness about the importance of music education in Canadian schools. The nationwide celebration of music will feature a simultaneous national performance of this year's Music Monday theme song, "Tomorrow is Coming", written and performed by Juno Award nominated, Canadian Folk Music Award winning artist Luke Doucet. "Tomorrow is Coming" was co-commissioned by the CBC and the Coalition.

Groups of students will gather outdoors in their communities across Canada to sing "Tomorrow is Coming" and play music in support of the Coalition for Music Education and Music Monday.
