Media Advisory - NCACT to Release Report on State of Contraband Tobacco

What:		Grant and Rouillard will release a report highlighting the state of contraband tobacco in Canada, five years after the RCMP launched its Contraband Tobacco Enforcement Strategy.
Why:		May 7^th marks the fifth anniversary of the RCMP's Contraband Tobacco Enforcement Strategy. Contraband tobacco funds the activities of more than 175 criminal gangs, including drugs, guns, and human smuggling. Contraband's low price and easy availability also makes it a prime source of youth smoking.
