An Invitation to visit the "Gateway to Louisbourg in Isle Royale"

The Nova Scotia Tourism Agency will be hosting a celebration on Wednesday, May 29th at 11:30 am with a sampling of the sights, sounds and flavours of historic Louisbourg in downtown Montreal. Complexe Desjardins will set the stage as we commemorate the 300th anniversary of the founding of Louisbourg, a founding gateway to North America while extending a formal invitation for everyone to visit Cape Breton -- known to founding French settlers as Isle Royale -- this summer.
The one-of-a-kind Kilted Chef, Alain Bossé will provide Lobster 101 tips, while the crowd savours free samples of his unique take on the Nova Scotia lobster slider over the lunch hour. The Louisbourg minstrels will share the perfect musical backdrop for this noon-time Nova Scotia retreat all in period costume.
