HSBC CANADA ASSET TRUST TO REDEEM HSBC HaTS SERIES 2010

VANCOUVER, Nov. 8 /CNW/ - HSBC Canada Asset Trust (HBH.M-TMX), an affiliate of HSBC Bank Canada, today announced its intention to redeem all outstanding units of its HSBC Canada Asset Trust Securities - Series 2010 ("HSBC HaTS Series 2010"). In accordance with their terms, each HSBC HaTS Series 2010 will be redeemed at $1,000 per unit plus unpaid distributions to the redemption date. The redemption will occur on 31 December 2010.
