<p>Latens CAS Release 5 is the latest version of Latens' software only CAS for Cable, DTH, DTT, IPTV and Hybrid networks.  Latens CAS Release 5 software solution allows content to be securely delivered across all broadband and broadcast platforms from a single headend to one way, two way DVB and/or IP networks.  Latens CAS dynamically detects how Set Top Boxes (STBs) are connected to the CAS and automatically allocates the entitlements/permissions to it.  This means that when an operator wishes to expand to other network types, or from one way to return path, they will not have to invest in a new CAS system.</p>

<p>Latens software CAS Release 5 allows Telcos to have a unified rights management system across IPTV and Cable all from one headend.  This enables Telcos to run the federated model of having various operators managed from one system thereby reducing costs.  It also allows the operator to protect OTT services across multiple devices providing a future proofed content and revenue protection solution as well as lowering management costs through built in automated network client and security monitoring.</p>
