Media Advisory - Trillium Health Centre Foundation set to announce the
largest gift in the organization's history

MISSISSAUGA/WEST TORONTO, ON, Nov. 17 /CNW/ - On November 22, 2010, the Trillium Health Centre Foundation will be hosting an event to announce a precedent-setting donation to Trillium Health Centre's new seniors' health and wellness program. 

This is the largest one-time gift pledge the hospital and its foundation have ever received.  The hospital will also unveil its vision for the seniors' health and wellness program and announce a research endowment.

WHO:	Dr. David Foot, renowned demographer and author of Boom, Bust & Echo will speak about the region's changing face and how these changes will shape our community and its health care needs. Janet Davidson, O.C., President & CEO, Trillium Health Centre, will share Trillium's vision  for providing health care in the future as the population changes and ages. Marianne Di Lullo, President, Volunteers of Trillium Health Centre, will announce the commitment her volunteers have made to ensure excellence in seniors' health and wellness in our community. Steve Hoscheit, President & CEO, Trillium Health Centre Foundation, will host the event.
