The Woodbridge Group Licenses Integral Skin Technology from Toscana Gomma
MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, Nov. 29, 2010 /CNW/ - The Woodbridge Group and Toscana Gomma are pleased to announce a technical agreement, involving polyurethane technology and chemistry for integral skin solutions. Woodbridge DecoSkin(TM) products combine a durable, non-porous polyurethane outer layer, with a lower density polyurethane core, that can be engineered to offer targeted comfort and resiliency. The decorative, color matched finished surface, allows for a cost effective range of entirely new designs and shapes, without any compromise to fit, finish or function. A key attribute of DecoSkin(TM) technology is its capability to combine tough durability with a luxurious tactile quality, ideal for applications such as automotive grip handles. Other applications include automotive head restraints, armrests and steering wheels, as well as a range of products for other markets.
Martin Mazza, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Global Sales, The Woodbridge Group states, "Toscana Gomma is recognized for their design, engineering and manufacturing excellence across a number of markets including the automotive sector. We look forward to working together and exploring other opportunities to provide innovative products and solutions to our many common and unique customers."
"This agreement marks an important step in our relationship with The Woodbridge Group," states Renato Ravicino, Chief Executive Officer, Toscana Gomma. "Our two organizations share many common philosophies, including the strategy to deliver truly unique, world class products that bring value to the markets we serve.
