IABC Calgary's November Luncheon features Garth Rowan, communications consultant to Olympians; event takes place November 20, 2012
CALGARY, Nov. 14, 2012 /CNW/ - Why is your work better on some days than on others? The good news is that you just need to ask the right people — Olympic athletes.
When he's not working with some of the largest corporations in North America, Garth Rowan has coached many of our Olympians in communications skills for the past decade. He's observed how Olympians think differently and how we can apply their secrets to our work and life.
In this session, you will discover how you can use Olympic techniques to:
- apply the thinking of top performers to communications
- think and process information at a higher level
- eliminate "bad" days
- learn how you can change people
