MONTREAL, Nov. 26, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - A commemorative ceremony will be held in memory of the Honourable Paul Guy Desmarais, P.C., C.C., O.Q., at Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal, located at 110 Notre-Dame Street West, on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 3 p.m.
Media Accreditations and Logistics
To access the media positions described below, please note that accreditations are mandatory for all media representatives who wish to be present at the ceremony, including reporters, photographers, cameramen, technicians, and others.

Please note that subject to these provisions, no camera or photographers will be allowed inside or on the forecourt of the Basilica:
1. Live television rebroadcast
A live television broadcast pool will be available as of 2 p.m. (ET) until about 5:30 p.m. (ET). The multi camera cut pool feed - exterior and interior of the Basilica - will be made available in 16:9, HD, via TOC Montréal or TOC Toronto.

2. Unilateral Network Coverage
Accredited media who want to get unilateral coverage of the ceremony outside of the Basilica may do so from the Place d'Armes quadrangle, bounded by the Notre-Dame, Place d'Armes, St-Jacques, and St-Sulpice streets.
Alongside this quadrangle, the east side of Place d'Armes street will be set aside for network vehicles and equipment.
Please validate your space requirements when confirming your presence.
3. Pool of Photographers
Only a pool of two (2) photographers will have access to the Basilica. The pool will consist of The Canadian Press (CP) and Reuters. Photographers from other agencies should make arrangements onsite with CP and Reuters photographers, before the event, to ensure content is distributed to them.
4. Area for the Media on the Basilica Forecourt
A designated area for the accredited media will be set aside on the Basilica forecourts, on the east side of the central aisle.
No camera will be allowed on the Basilica forecourt.
5. Reserved Media Seating inside the Basilica
Seating has been reserved for the media inside the Basilica. Given their limited number, seating will be assigned on a first-come-first-serve basis to those confirming their presence.
No camera or photographers will be allowed inside the Basilica.
6. Media Table and Accreditations
Accreditations can be picked up as of Tuesday, December 3 at 11 a.m. in the media tent located on St-Sulpice Street on the east side of the Basilica.
