The economic downturn has popularized online training. The Dining for Success video training grew from live executive dining seminars. Style for Success produced a training DVD that is currently licensed to professional service firms and major banks. In 2008 following requests from American MBA programs, they developed an online version that people could privately access 24/7 at their computers.
"Etiquette training shouldn't be like your mom rapping your knuckles. People really seem to appreciate the lighthearted yet business like approach," adds Pithers.
