/CNW/ - Connexall is pleased to announce the formation of a new advisory board. Members of the advisory board will bring their extensive business and board governance expertise to assist Connexall manage its rapid growth and implement a long-term strategic plan.
The members of the advisory board are:
The Honourable
William Davis
Premier of Ontario from 1971-1985,
Mr. Davis
also served as Minister of Education and University Affairs, where he was instrumental in the creation of Ontario's community college system, and oversaw the creation of Trent and Brock Universities. For his many efforts and achievements over the years,
Mr. Davis
was invested as a Companion of the Order of
Canada
in 1986.
Mr. Davis
is a director of several companies, including First American Financial, First American Title Insurance Company, BPO Properties, Home Capital Group and Magellan Aerospace.
Mr. Davis
is Vice-Chairman of the International Advisory Council of Power Corporation of
Canada
.

was inducted as a Knight in l'Ordre National de la Légion d'Honneur at a ceremony conducted in

Dr. William Dimma
Former Chair of the Board of Governors of York University, former President of

Star Newspapers Limited, and former President, CEO, and Deputy Chairman of Royal LePage Limited,
Dr. Dimma
has served numerous non-profit organizations, including positions as President of the Canadian Club of
Toronto
, director of the Canadian Opera Company, the C.D. Howe Institute, the Economic Council of
Canada
, the Hospital for Sick Children, the
Toronto
Symphony Orchestra, and the Trillium Foundation.
Dr. Dimma
is widely known as a leader within the corporate community for his advocacy of a greater sense of ethical awareness and of higher ethical business standards.

is Chairman of the Connexall Advisory Board.
Gordon Carton
Mr. Carton
practiced law in the City of
Toronto
for a number of years and is an honorary member of the Law Society of Upper
Canada
. He is a former member of the Ontario Legislature (12 years); a former member and chairman of a number of Legislative Standing Committees and Select Committees; a former Ontario Cabinet Minister (Labour, Financial and Commercial Affairs, Transportation and Communications). He is also a former director and Vice President of Legal and Corporate affairs of Silcorp Limited (Silverwood Dairies, Mac's Milk, Baskin-Robbins). He has served on a number of boards of directors, both profit and not for profit. He is the founder and chairman of The Ideal Advisory Board, an organization of 15 entrepreneurial owners in various industries.
With their combined experience in government, business development, and board governance, the advisory board will use their unique insights to help Connexall put in place a framework that will see the company continue to succeed.
