CGI wins US$11 million contract with Marine Corps Systems Command

FAIRFAX, VA, Oct. 5 /CNW Telbec/ - The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) has awarded CGI Federal Inc., a wholly-owned U.S. operating subsidiary of CGI Group Inc. (NYSE: GIB; TSX: GIB.A), a US$11 million dollar firm-fixed-price contract over five years. This competitively-awarded contract will support multiple, critical U.S. Marine Corps Manpower Management Support Branch (MMSB) information technology applications.
Under the award, CGI will provide network support, information assurance, system maintenance, application enhancements and support of MMSB daily business operations. The primary focus of the work will be to ensure systems availability and accurate record transmission and reporting in order to help maintain continuity of operations for the U.S. Marine Corps' promotion boards.
