TORONTO, Oct. 29 /CNW/ - "It's Always Something", Presented by The Keg Steakhouse & Bar, in support of Gilda's Club Greater Toronto, is proud to announce star-studded additions for the 9th annual Variety Show to take place on Monday, November 22 at the Princess of Wales Theatre. Blue Rodeo's Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor, acclaimed conjurer David Ben, along with guest appearances by Eugene Levy and Dan Levy, have all been added to Toronto's Number One Night of Entertainment.
With his work on "SCTV" and legendary Hollywood films, Eugene Levy is one of the most recognized and successful Canadian entertainers of his generation. His son Dan Levy is one of Canada's most popular young actors and a former co-host of MTV's "The After Show". Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor are two of Canada's most successful singers and songwriters with their landmark work as part of multiple Juno Award-winning group, Blue Rodeo. The magic of David Ben is known worldwide, and is guaranteed to generate mystery, imagination and laughter. Performers from Mirvish Productions of "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" and "Rock of Ages" will also be featured.
These outstanding additions will be joining Russell Peters, Canada's number one comedian, back for his 4th consecutive year as host, with another all-star cast of comedians, musicians and dancers, in support of Gilda's Club Greater Toronto, a cancer care centre providing free social and emotional support programs for kids, teens and adults, helping them, and their families, live with a cancer diagnosis in their lives.
Previously announced performers include improve masters Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood; eight-time Juno Award winner, singer-songwriter Jann Arden; the hilarious comedy troupe Women Fully Clothed (Jayne Eastwood, Robin Duke, Kathryn Greenwood and Teresa Pavlinek), as well as rising comedian Arthur Simeon.
More than $2.5 million has been raised by "It's Always Something" to support Gilda's Club Greater Toronto, named after famed Saturday Night Live comedian Gilda Radner.
