TORONTO, Oct. 29, 2012 /CNW/ - The spiraling costs, aging population and debt reduction strategies are squeezing the Canadian health system to its thinnest.

At the Summit on Sustainable Health and Health Care 2012, The Conference Board of Canada will bring together health leaders to discuss research, hear from national and international experts, and explore Canada's structure and funding challenges

Who:	Canada's Health Care System and Canadian's Health—Defining What Ails Us Alex Jadad, Chief Innovator and Founder of Centre for Global eHealth Innovation, will present his vision for the transformation of health care and also explore the pressing issues in health care in a panel discussion. Dhalla, Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto and Physician at St. Michael's Hospital; Glen Hodgson, Senior Vice-President and Chief Economist at The Conference Board of Canada and Head of the Canadian Alliance for Sustainable Health Care; Gaetan Lafortune, Senior Economist at the Organisation for Economic, Co-operation and Development. 8:30 a.m.
