Starting on Monday, October 21, 2013, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) will hold a public hearing in Gatineau, Quebec, to consider the feasibility of establishing a video relay service (VRS) in Canada for Canadians who are deaf, hard of hearing or speech impaired.

Simultaneous translation will be offered in English and French, as well as in American Sign Language and Langue de signes quebecoise throughout the hearing.
