Media Advisory - 2nd Summit on Sustainable Health and Health Care and Scholar in Residence Book Launch
TORONTO, Oct. 29, 2013 /CNW/ - Spiraling costs, an aging population, and deficit and debt reduction at all levels of government challenge the very survival of Canada's health care system. The Conference Board of Canada's summit on Sustainable Health and Health Care will bring together top Canadian and international experts to explore solutions for Canada's greatest health challenges.
The Conference Board will also host its Scholar-in-Residence book launch on October 30 at 5:15 p.m. André Picard, summit Chair and the Board's 2012 Scholar-in-Residence, will discuss his newest book, The Path to Health Care Reform: Policy and Politics. The book features his own in-depth research into Canadian health care and what the future may hold for reform of our ever-changing system.
