Lakeside Steel reports results of annual and special meeting of shareholders

WELLAND, ON, Sept. 14 /CNW/ - Lakeside Steel Inc. (TSX-V: LS) ("Lakeside" or the "Company") announced the election of the following Directors at its annual and special meeting of shareholders held today: Vic Alboini, Ron Bedard , Norm Findlay, William Grant , Wes Roitman and John Welton .

Lakeside's shareholders reappointed Grant Thornton LLP to serve as Lakeside's auditors. Shareholders also approved the adoption of the Company's Employee Share Purchase Plan and re-approved the Company's Stock Option Plan. Shareholders also approved resolutions adopting a new general by-law and issuing up to 1,200,000 common shares to Ron Bedard , Chief Operating Officer.
