ATCO Travel joins Maritime Travel

HALIFAX, NS, Sept. 1 /CNW/ - Maritime Travel has reinforced its position as a travel industry leader in Canada with the acquisition of ATCO Travel.  The 3 former ATCO Travel locations will be known as Maritime Travel and the addition of these locations will bring Maritime Travel to 91 locations coast to coast with just under 400 employees.

ATCO Travel is located in Edmonton, Calgary and Ottawa and was a division of Alberta based ATCO Ltd.  This follows Maritime Travel's recent expansion throughout British Columbia, strengthening the company's foothold in the western Canada markets.
