TORONTO, Sept. 27 /CNW/ - Two of the world's top surrealist comics, Steven Wright and Demetri Martin, will be making a real difference alongside some of Canada's best at DundeeWealth's Stand Up For Kids 2010.

Hosted by Mike Wilmot (It's All Gone, Pete Tong), star of  the Canadian TV series The Foundation, DundeeWealth's Stand Up For Kids takes place Tuesday, October 26 at the TELUS Centre for Performance and Learning.

The performance fundraiser - for Dixon Hall's Summer Day Camp, Eva's Initiatives and Trails - will star legendary Boston comedian Steven Wright, and Demetri Martin host of the Comedy Central/Comedy Network series Important Things with Demetri Martin.

Also on this diverse show is Toronto's own James Cunningham, accomplished stand up comic and creator of the award-winning Funny Money financial literacy program. DundeeWealth's Stand Up For Kids lineup is rounded out by top Toronto based comedians Debra DiGiovanni (Last Comic Standing, Video On Trial and the Slice network's Plastic Makes Perfect), Filipino Canadian sensation Ron Josol and the fresh faced Ted Morris.

DundeeWealth's Stand Up for Kids is an annual evening of stand-up comedy with some of Canada's most successful comedians as well as internationally recognized comedic names.
