Media Advisory - MPs band together in "Brown Bag Blitz" to help West Africa in final days before government match deadline

WHAT: | World Vision brings the "My Lunch Paid for African Aid" campaign to downtown Ottawa on Wednesday, September 26. Members of Parliament and World Vision representatives will be distributing brown bags and asking people to pack a lunch and donate their lunch money to humanitarian relief efforts in West Africa before the Government of Canada's match deadline on September 30. In addition to handing out thousands of these special lunch bags, the MPs and World Vision members will be accompanied by two giant six-foot-tall lunch bags with "My Lunch Paid for African Aid" logos. |
