First City-Licensed Taxi App Launching in Toronto Tomorrow
Hailo Founder & CEO in Toronto for interviews to mark app's North American debut
TORONTO, Sept. 25, 2012 /CNW/ - The taxi landscape in Toronto will be changed on Wednesday, September 26 with the official launch of the first city-licensed app-based taxi company: Hailo. With Hailo, Torontonians can book and pay for a taxi with two taps on the screen of their smartphone - at the same rate as a regular taxi ride.
Hailo launched in London, England, and with more than 400,000 downloads and 2,000 five-star reviews on the iTunes app store, it is the world's largest taxi app. The Toronto launch marks Hailo's first foray into North America.
